Mukti Launches Organic Farming Training in Partnership with ‘A VIEW’

As an agricultural training partner of “A VIEW,” Mukti initiated an organic farming training program on June 7th, 2024, in Moktar Gheri Para of Jibantala village, under Canning Block in the South 24 Parganas district. This project is supported by “Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro South” and involves 100 selected farmers.

“A VIEW” is a year-long project where the 100 farmers are divided into two groups of 50. Each farmer will participate in two training sessions per month.

The first day featured an orientation meeting in which Mukti inspired the farmers to embrace organic farming. The session highlighted the detrimental effects of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, encouraging the adoption of healthier organic practices. Following the orientation, farmers received training on producing organic manure, Nadep compost, and liquid Jibamrit.
