•A two-day workshop (January 11-12, 2025) titled “Understanding and Addressing the Health Effects of Climate Change in the Sundarbans.”
•A collaborative initiative hosted by Mukti and Queen Mary University, London.
•A platform for international experts to share scoping reviews on key climate-health issues.
•An advocacy effort to integrate climate resilience into local healthcare infrastructure and disaster preparedness.

03. How the project is?

•Expert Panels: Featuring international specialists from University of New South Wales, Asian Institute of Technology, and the Public Health Foundation of India.
•Interactive Methodology: Used a “Dotmocracy” activity to encourage participants to vote on and prioritize the most urgent climate-health challenges.
•Knowledge Blending: Combining high-level scientific research with traditional local knowledge to enhance community resilience.
•Institutional Support: Leveraging Mukti’s existing role in disaster relief, public health, and sustainable agriculture to implement findings.
•Future Research: Establishing a focus on practical, community-focused solutions that meet immediate population needs.
