MUKTI, in collaboration with Neotia Bhagirathi Women & Child Care Centre, successfully organized a Health Check-up Camp at the MUKTI Urban Project Office on 20th June 2026. The initiative aimed to improve access to basic healthcare services for residents of the Jorasanko community and promote greater awareness of preventive healthcare practices.
A total of 102 beneficiaries attended the camp and received doctor consultations, basic health screenings, essential medicines, and personalized health guidance. The camp provided an important opportunity for community members to discuss health concerns, receive medical advice, and access healthcare services closer to their homes.
The programme witnessed active participation from community members, reflecting the growing need for accessible and affordable healthcare support at the grassroots level. Beneficiaries appreciated the opportunity to consult medical professionals and gain a better understanding of their health and well-being.
MUKTI extends its sincere gratitude to Neotia Bhagirathi Women & Child Care Centre for their support in making the initiative successful. Special appreciation is also extended to MUKTI’s Health Manager, Mr. Sonamon Basu, whose efforts in coordinating the programme and facilitating the healthcare partnership played a key role in ensuring its smooth implementation.
The positive response from beneficiaries highlights the importance of community-based healthcare initiatives in improving health awareness and access to essential services. Through such programmes, MUKTI continues to work towards building healthier communities and ensuring that quality healthcare reaches those who need it most.
The camp concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the shared commitment of all stakeholders towards promoting health, well-being, and dignity for every individual.
