As part of the regular monitoring and audit process, Mr. Bhawani Ji, auditor representing Srijan Realty Pvt. Ltd., conducted a series of field visits across Mukti-supported project locations in the Sundarbans during June 2026. The visit provided an opportunity to review project implementation, interact with beneficiaries and stakeholders, and gain firsthand insights into the impact of various initiatives supported by Srijan.
During the visit, Mr. Bhawani Ji visited several Srijan-supported Mukti Support Schools (MSS) and Mukti Kishalaya Support Schools (MKSS), including Kuemuri MSS (Classes V–X), Debichak MSS (Classes V–X), Debichak MSS (Classes I–IV), and Santoshnagar MKSS. He interacted with students, teachers, and field staff, observed classroom activities, and reviewed the overall functioning of the centres. The interactions provided valuable opportunities to understand the educational progress being made at the grassroots level and the role of the schools in supporting children from rural communities.
The audit visit also included a comprehensive review of various community development initiatives implemented by Mukti. At Mukti Gram, Purba Sreedharpur, and Mukti Bio Gram, Kankandighi, the auditor visited Srijan-supported housing projects in Nagendrapur Gram Panchayat and Kankandighi Gram Panchayat areas. He met with beneficiary families and gained insights into the process of beneficiary selection, project implementation, material procurement, and community support mechanisms.
In addition, the visit covered a range of livelihood and sustainability initiatives, including crab culture, agroforestry-based fruit gardens, biogas plants, bathing ghats, burning stations, sheds, and other community infrastructure. Discussions were also held with self-help group members who had received support in the form of fishing nets, boats, and livestock assistance. The auditor interacted with vendors associated with the projects and reviewed various operational processes to understand implementation practices and transparency mechanisms.
The visit served as an important opportunity to assess progress, understand field-level realities, and strengthen accountability across project activities. The interactions with students, teachers, beneficiaries, community members, and field teams highlighted the collective efforts being made to improve education, livelihoods, housing, and community resilience in the region.
Mukti extends its sincere gratitude to all field teams, teachers, community members, and beneficiaries from the Mathurapur and Patharpratima clusters for their wholehearted cooperation and support in facilitating the visit successfully.
