Mukti’s Foundation Day was celebrated across five MCDF branches with enthusiasm and active participation from community members and Self-Help Group (SHG) members. The observance took place in diverse formats, reflecting local contexts—ranging from small community gatherings to more formal programmes at branch offices.
In several locations, the celebrations began with ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by interactive sessions where participants reflected on Mukti’s journey, vision, and mission. Community women and SHG members actively engaged in discussions, sharing their experiences and perspectives.
Participants highlighted the significance of 9th March, marking Mukti’s journey from a small initiative in 2003 to its formal registration in 2005, and its growth into a key organisation working towards social and environmental development.
Many shared how Mukti’s interventions across sectors such as health, education, agriculture, livelihood, environment, and rights awareness have positively impacted their lives, strengthening confidence and creating opportunities for sustainable development.
Women participants especially emphasized the role of Mukti in empowering them to take active roles in community life and decision-making processes. The discussions reflected a strong sense of ownership and collective progress.
On the occasion, participants also expressed their gratitude to Mukti’s founders and leadership for their vision and dedication. The celebration concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment to continue working towards Mukti’s mission, carrying forward its spirit of hope, resilience, and inclusive development.
