
On March 17th, 2025, Mukti organized a collaborative learning and knowledge-sharing program between the SURYA Project and the Mukti Community Development Fund (MCDF) team at Raidighi. The event aimed to strengthen ties and share valuable insights between these two initiatives, both working toward empowering the youth and marginalized communities.
The session was facilitated by Smt Saswati Mukherjee, who manages the SURYA Project. In her address, she provided detailed information about the SURYA Project, which is designed to empower young men and women in the age group of 18 to 25 years. The initiative focuses on offering them specialized training that will equip them with the necessary skills to secure meaningful employment.
She emphasized that this project provides a golden opportunity for young people to gain practical knowledge and develop skills that would open doors to various career prospects. The training program, which is comprehensive and covers diverse areas, is available for a fee of ₹3100, which can be paid in convenient instalments. She also highlighted the importance of this initiative, explaining how it aligns with Mukti’s larger goal of fostering self-reliance and sustainable growth within local communities.
