Mukti successfully organised a warm and interactive virtual meeting on 23rd November 2025 with our respected sponsor, Mr. Animesh Datta, along with his supported students and the Mukti team. The session created a meaningful space for sharing experiences, academic updates, and future aspirations. It also strengthened the bond between the sponsor and the students, encouraging them with valuable insights and guidance for their educational journey.
Mr. Animesh Datta has been associated with Mukti since 2022–23 and has been a constant pillar of support for talented students from economically challenged backgrounds. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in Electrical Engineering, he is a distinguished professional who has achieved remarkable recognition in his field. He received the prestigious 2006 IEEE Circuits and Systems Society VLSI Transactions Best Paper Award and was nominated for the Best Paper Award at the Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference held in the United States. His academic brilliance and dedication to research are truly inspiring for every young learner connected to the TSS program.
Since 2022, Mr. Datta has been sponsoring two students—Isha Sadhu, currently pursuing B.Sc. in Mathematics (1st Year) at Hooghly Mohsin College, and Kalpataru Sarkar, studying MBBS (3rd Professional) at Midnapore Medical College and Hospital. In 2025, his support expanded further as he took responsibility for four additional bright students: Sankha Pal, MBBS 1st Professional, Barasat Government Medical College & Hospital; Dibyendu Ghosh, B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (2nd Year), Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology; Debajeet Banik, B.Com Accounting & Finance (1st Year), Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration; and Lisha Bera, currently studying in Higher Secondary at Dahar-Kundu Sree Ramkrishna High School and also preparing as a JEE aspirant. His thoughtful support has opened new doors of opportunity for these deserving students, enabling them to pursue higher education with confidence.
During the meeting, Mr. Datta shared inspiring moments from his personal and professional journey, describing the challenges he overcame and the milestones he achieved. He encouraged the students to stay committed to their goals and to cultivate discipline, curiosity, and perseverance in their academic life. The students also shared their current academic progress, future plans, and the ways in which Mukti’s Talented Students Sponsorship program has helped them move forward. Mr. Datta offered valuable suggestions on career development, skill enhancement, and long-term planning, motivating each student to dream bigger and work harder.
He also expressed interest in understanding more about the functioning of the TSS program—its processes, student engagement methods, and future initiatives. His thoughtful questions and feedback reflected his deep commitment to the holistic growth of the students he supports.
This virtual interaction was truly enriching, filled with warmth, encouragement, and gracious guidance. Mukti sincerely acknowledges and appreciates Mr. Animesh Datta for his continued support, compassion, and dedication toward transforming young lives through education. His involvement continues to inspire both the students and the Mukti team to work with greater passion and purpose.
