Virtual Meet Connects Sponsor and Aspiring Doctor Through Mukti’s TSS Program

On April 19, 2025, Mukti’s Talented Students’ Sponsorship (TSS) team facilitated a meaningful virtual interaction between Ms. Sanchita Bardhan and her sponsored student, Tiyasa Biswas, via Google Meet.

Tiyasa, a final-year MBBS student from Kamdebkati village in North 24 Parganas, comes from a lower-middle-class family. After losing her father, she has been supported solely by her mother, Mira Biswas, who sustains the family through farming. Despite financial hardship, Tiyasa has remained committed to her medical education.

Ms. Bardhan is from Assam, initially worked in India in IPCL Vadodara for 10 years. Thereafter she shifted to Kuwait and residing there since 2001. She is working in Oil sector there. Ms. Bardhan began sponsoring Tiyasa in April 2022. Her support has helped relieve the financial strain on the family and enabled Tiyasa to focus fully on her studies. During the meeting, Tiyasa shared her academic progress, which was warmly received. Ms. Bardhan encouraged her to stay focused and emphasized the importance of compassionate care in her future medical career, especially toward the elderly.

Tiyasa expressed sincere gratitude to Ms. Bardhan and Mukti, acknowledging their vital role in her journey. The meeting reflected the core mission of Mukti’s TSS program: to connect sponsors with students and empower them to achieve their dreams through education.
