On 7 August 2026, the Talented Students Scholarship (TSS) Team organised an online interaction meeting between sponsor Mr. Animesh Datta and six students supported under the programme. The interaction aimed to understand the students’ academic progress, family and financial circumstances, challenges, and future career aspirations.
Mr. Datta has been associated with Mukti since 2022–23 and has been supporting deserving students through the TSS Programme. In the current academic year, he is supporting six students pursuing education across different academic streams.
During the interaction, each student shared their academic journey, current challenges, and future plans. Dibyendu Ghosh, pursuing Electrical Engineering, spoke about his plan to appear for the GATE examination and his interest in joining coaching, although the associated costs are difficult for his family to manage. Isha Sadhu, a Mathematics student, shared how the scholarship has helped her continue her studies while highlighting the difficulty of managing semester examination fees.
Sankha Pal, an MBBS student, shared that he used the scholarship support to purchase essential medical textbooks. Debajeet Banik, pursuing B.Com. alongside CMA, spoke about his plans to pursue M.Com. and CA in the future. Lisha Bera, a Class 12 student, shared her aspiration to qualify for JEE and pursue Engineering. Subhechha Ghosh, also studying in Class 12, expressed her dream of pursuing Engineering at Jadavpur University and spoke about the financial challenges faced by her family. She shared that the scholarship has been instrumental in helping her continue her education without interruption.
Encouraging the students to remain focused and work consistently towards their goals, Mr. Datta advised the Class 12 students to undertake regular mock tests and assessments to strengthen their preparation for competitive entrance examinations.
The interaction also included suggestions for further strengthening student support under the TSS Programme. Mr. Datta proposed the creation of stream-wise student groups, regular monitoring and guidance sessions for entrance examinations, separate groups for Higher Secondary and post-Higher Secondary students, and quarterly student surveys to better understand students’ evolving needs and provide appropriate support.
The students expressed their sincere gratitude to Mr. Datta and the TSS Team for their continued support, encouragement, and guidance.
The meeting was a meaningful and encouraging interaction that provided students with an opportunity to openly share their progress and challenges while receiving valuable guidance from their sponsor. Such engagements strengthen the sponsor–student relationship, build confidence, and help students make informed decisions about their academic and career pathways.
