TSS Award Ceremony on 18th Annual program

This year, at the 18th TSS Award Ceremony, Mukti honored students for exceptional social contributions, dividing awards into four categories.

1. Health & Awareness Award: Presented to Humaira Khatun, a current MBBS student at Calcutta National Medical College. Humaira, residing in Baruipur, South 24 Parganas district, dedicates Sundays to volunteering at Lifecare Blood Bank’s blood donation camps. Alongside studies, she coaches aspiring students for entrance exams. Sponsored by Mr. Anirban Banerjee for three years, Humaira finds fulfillment in her noble work.
2. Education Award: Bestowed upon Soumyadeep Giri, pursuing a BS-MS dual degree at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata. Born in Narayanpur village, Namkhana, South 24 Parganas, Soumyadeep, inspired by his parents, offers free tuition to girls and 11th-12th-grade science students in his village. Associated with Mukti’s science department for three years, his sponsorship fuels his passion for social service.
3. Environment Award: Awarded to Sujit Mondal, a second-year BA (English) student at Dhruv Chandra Haldar College from Raidighi, South 24 Parganas. Living with Sekha Neta’s family, Sujit’s social responsibilities include tree planting, conservation, aiding the elderly, and roadside area cleaning, contributing to reducing pollution. Sponsored by Mukti Sathi for five years, Sujit was recognized with a memento for his efforts.

This year, a special award was crafted to recognize exceptional yoga performers, individuals who not only demonstrate consistent dedication to yoga practice but also inspire others with their perfect execution. Two outstanding prizes were bestowed upon Chayanika Das Chowdhury, pursuing B.Sc. part-II with Electronics (H) at Asutosh College, supported by GSCA, and Debranjan Sardar, pursuing MBBS 3rd prof. part-I, sponsored by Mr. Partha Sarathi Mukhopadhyay.

In recognition of their achievements, each winner received a commemorative memento.
