Sponsored children under the Mukti CHILD Project, supported by Children International, are enthusiastically preparing for the upcoming Annual Event on 19th and 20th December in Kolkata. Hailing from various slum areas of the city, the children are channeling their creativity and learning into meaningful Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) and innovative models. The preparation phase across the centres is buzzing with energy, teamwork, and excitement as children translate their year-long learning into colourful and engaging exhibits.
A total of 16 stalls will be showcased during the event, offering a vibrant glimpse into the learning journey of children across different age groups:
These stalls will not only exhibit creative materials but will also serve as platforms for children to express their understanding, skills, and confidence. Through their displays, children will highlight the core life skills and programme themes practiced throughout the year, including effective communication, growth mindset, empathy, emotional wellbeing, leadership, responsibility, health and hygiene, puberty education, digital safety, and more.
The Annual Event promises to be a celebration of learning, creativity, and empowerment, giving children the opportunity to take pride in their growth while inspiring peers, caregivers, community members, and stakeholders. By positioning children as active presenters rather than passive participants, Mukti continues to foster a safe and supportive environment where every child can learn, express, and thrive.
