Sneha Chatterjee’s Journey with Mukti TSS and Mr. Saikat Banerjee

On April 7th, 2024, the Mukti TSS team organized a virtual meeting between Mr. Saikat Banerjee and his sponsored student, Sneha Chatterjee. It was Sneha’s first meeting with her sponsor.

Residing in Northern Virginia, USA, Mr. Saikat Banerjee is working as a professional Sr. Database Specialist Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He hails from Konnagar, Hooghly. He has been an IT professional for nearly a decade, and has started nurturing a connection with Mukti from 2022-23. Mukti extends its sincerest gratitude to Mr. Banerjee for his steadfast support in enabling Sneha to pursue her educational aspirations.

Sneha Chatterjee calls East Baidyapara, Sonarpur her home, where she resides with her parents and grandmother. Her father once operated a sports shop near Sonarpur Bridge, but its closure during the lockdown left the family financially strained. Though the shop has reopened, clientele remains sparse. In light of these challenges, Sneha’s pursuit of a BA in Comparative Literature, UG1, at Jadavpur University stands as a testament to her resilience. Her ambition to delve into journalism and make a meaningful impact in the field is now within reach, thanks to the steadfast support of Mr. Banerjee and Mukti TSS.

During their virtual meeting, Mr. Banerjee warmly welcomed Sneha, expressing genuine interest in her studies and aspirations. Sneha, in turn, shared insights into her academic journey and familial circumstances, underscoring the importance of financial backing for her educational endeavors. Moved by Sneha’s determination, Mr. Banerjee assured his ongoing support, ensuring that she can pursue her studies unhindered and aspire towards her dream of obtaining a Ph.D. and securing a bright future.
