Protecting Our Community: Immunization Drive at Egra Block
On April 24, 2024, during the festivities of the “Gajon Mela” in Bengal, the Mukti Egra team organized an awareness camp aimed at dispelling myths surrounding immunization and alleviating apprehensions about vaccines among the populace. Spearheaded by the Mukti Community Development Fund (MCDF), the event unfolded in Shipur village, within the Egra Block of Purba Medinipur district.
Equipped with expertise and compassion, MCDF members adept in administering injections extended a crucial service: free tetanus vaccinations to approximately 56 disadvantaged individuals who converged upon the camp. This endeavor not only safeguarded the health of the underprivileged but also fostered a sense of community empowerment and well-being.
