On 28th August 2025, Mukti, in collaboration with Red Thread, extended its support to a meaningful initiative organized by Matherdighi Palli Seva Sadan at Bahirsona of Canning, South 24 Parganas.
The event focused on the distribution of pre-owned clothes among community members, aligning with the broader vision of reducing carbon footprint and encouraging sustainable living. The drive highlighted the importance of reuse and recycling in curbing environmental degradation while simultaneously addressing the clothing needs of rural households.
By re-circulating garments, the initiative not only offered immediate relief to the underprivileged but also reinforced the message of “Go Green, Save the World.” It was a step toward raising awareness on how individual choices, such as reusing clothes, can collectively make a significant contribution to combating climate change.
Mukti, along with Red Thread, remains committed to promoting community-driven sustainability and fostering practices that bridge social welfare with ecological responsibility.
