A medical camp was successfully organized at the Pathar Pratima hub on 21st November 2024, offering free healthcare services to the local community. This initiative, spearheaded by five dedicated team members of Mukti’s “Swastha Shongini” program, was designed to provide much-needed medical assistance to individuals who might otherwise lack access to quality healthcare. Over the course of the day, the camp successfully catered to 117 patients, offering free doctor consultations and essential medicines.
The camp received invaluable support from Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital, which partnered with Mukti as part of their ongoing linking programme. This collaboration ensured that every patient received adequate medication, addressing a wide range of health concerns, from common ailments to more complex conditions. The partnership between Mukti and Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital underscores the critical role of community-oriented collaborations in improving public health.
In addition to providing general healthcare consultations, the camp team identified five children with serious medical conditions. These children were referred for free treatment through the Bhagirathi Neotia Group’s healthcare network, which will ensure they receive the specialized care required for their conditions. This proactive approach to identifying and addressing severe health issues reflects the camp’s holistic commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for the most vulnerable members of the community.
