Mukti Yoga Center: Foundation Stone-Laying Ceremony

13^th August 2021 Friday was a memorable day for Mukti. On that day Mukti organized the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Yoga Center at Mukti Gram, Purba Sridharpur (Paschim Para) under Nagendrapur GP, Mathurapur II block. The ceremony began at 8 AM followed by “Bhoomi Puja” (Ground Breaking Ceremony) and continued till 9:30 AM.

Mr. Nimay Halder, a social worker and the joint secretary of the West Bengal Transport Department allotted approx 7 Katha of land for the Yoga center. It will be a two-storied building with all modern types of equipment. Two separate floors will be used for men and women.

Men, women, and children irrespective of age, religion, race, caste, and language will be able to learn yoga from this center.

Co-president of the Panchayat, Mr. Jagadish Halder, Mukti working committee members Mr. Chittaranjan Halder, Mr. Bijoy Krishna Halder, Mr. Palan Chandra Sarkar, Mr. Subarna Kar along with the priest (purohit), and some villagers were present at the foundation stone-laying ceremony ground. Everyone present at the sight laid one brick.

At the end of the program, the priest wished for everyone’s good luck and blessed the place.
