Mukti was honoured by the Liver Foundation, West Bengal in recognition of its continued service to society and its unwavering commitment to community development. The recognition was presented during the LF20 – Through the Decades, a celebration marking 20 years of service, science, and social commitment by the Liver Foundation, held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre on 1 July 2026.
As part of the celebration, the Liver Foundation acknowledged Mukti as a fellow traveller in social development, recognising the organisation’s sustained efforts in transforming lives through its work across education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, disaster management, livelihood generation, women’s empowerment, and community resilience.
The honour celebrates organisations that have consistently worked at the grassroots, creating meaningful and lasting social impact through dedication, collaboration, and service. It also reflects the shared belief that lasting change is achieved when civil society organisations, communities, institutions, and other stakeholders work together towards a common purpose.
Mukti is deeply grateful to the Liver Foundation for this recognition. The honour serves as an encouragement to continue strengthening partnerships, expanding community-led initiatives, and working alongside governments, corporate partners, and fellow development organisations to build healthier, greener, and more resilient communities.
This recognition belongs to every member of the Mukti family – our staffs, volunteers, donors, partners, and the communities who have walked this journey with us.
