Mukti Book Bank Supported 1210 Students for the Academic Session of 2021-22

Years ago Mukti Book Bank started its journey by helping thousands of needy students from poor financial backgrounds facing problems in accessibility of reading materials, with books. Every year just before the starting of new sessions, in the schools Mukti Book Bank supports the students with books. This year also for the students of the academic session 2021-22 from class V to X Mukti Book Bank became operative from January.

Mukti Book Bank operates through 2 models -1) 30% model, 2) Coaching model. From January onwards Mukti started distributing books.

Under the 30% model any student can purchase books directly from Mukti Book Bank by giving only 30% of the book price. After completing the session the student has to return the book and they get a refund of 15%. To make the students responsible for their belongings Mukti takes the half amount as security deposit. Students can also purchase reference books under this 30% model. This year from January till date Mukti Book Bank has supported 210 students through this model .

Coaching model is meant for the students of MSS. Mukti, after buying the books from vendor processed them and send the books to the MSS. Teachers of MSS distribute them to the students. Students pay 15% of the book price. Mukti Book Bank, refund the total amount to the students instead of the books. From January till date Mukti Book Bank has supported 1,000 students of 6 MSS of Nagendrapur and Kankandighi GP.

All through February Mukti Book Bank will continue to support the students with study materials.
