The journey of implementing the Mukti Child Project’s non-formal curriculum in the Jorasanko area began in April 2025. Since then, the initiative has steadily grown, and a significant milestone has now been reached with the completion of 120 sessions across several clubs in the area.
Through these sessions, participants have engaged in a wide range of learning activities that go beyond textbooks. The programme has helped children strengthen their decision-making abilities, develop a positive mindset, enhance problem-solving and communication skills, and build critical thinking capacities. Regular discussions and activities have also increased awareness around health and hygiene, supporting overall personal development.
The consistent participation and enthusiasm shown by children reflect the relevance of the curriculum to their everyday lives. Feedback shared by the participants has been encouraging and insightful, highlighting the impact of the sessions on their confidence and understanding.
This positive response has created a strong foundation for the next season of the programme. As the Mukti Child Project moves forward, the learnings from this phase will guide further efforts to deepen engagement and continue supporting children’s holistic growth in the Jorasanko area.
