Mukti organised its flagship community outreach programme, Melay Mukti 2025–26, on 14 December 2025 at Radhakantapur, Ateshwartala. The event brought together children, community members, and Mukti teams on a shared platform to promote awareness on education, health, rights, environment, and sustainable livelihoods.
Students from the Mukti Support School (MSS) actively participated in a range of creative and wellness activities, including sit-and-draw, yoga, recitation, and dance. Their enthusiastic participation added vibrancy to the programme and provided them with an opportunity to showcase their talents in a supportive public setting.
A rally against child marriage, led by Mukti’s Shahoshini team, was a key highlight of the day. The rally aimed to raise community consciousness on child rights and protection, reinforcing Mukti’s ongoing efforts to prevent child marriage through grassroots mobilisation. Interactive games and engagement activities further encouraged participation and learning among attendees.
Several stalls were set up to showcase Mukti’s work across its livelihood, environment, education, rights, and health verticals. The stalls featured handcrafted soft toys, jewellery, processed food items, saplings, and other products prepared by community members associated with Mukti’s programmes, highlighting pathways towards sustainable income generation.
The event was graced by Mr Sankar Halder, Founder and President of Mukti, and Mr Chandan Maiti, Headmaster of Krishnachandrapur High School, whose presence added encouragement and value to the programme.
Overall, Melay Mukti 2025–26 served as an inclusive and engaging platform to spread awareness, celebrate community participation, and strengthen Mukti’s connection with the people it works alongside.
