As part of Mukti’s 21st Foundation Day observance across its various verticals, the Livelihood team commemorated the occasion at the Kankandighi SWAS Training Center on 18th March 2026 under the SWAS 2.0 Project and MCDF.
The programme brought together 42 participants, reflecting the collective strength and engagement of community-led livelihood initiatives. The event was presided over by Mr. Raghunath Bairagi and conducted by Mr. Ajoy Naskar, creating a participatory space for dialogue, reflection, and shared learning.
The celebration began with ceremonial candle lighting, followed by an interactive session where participants shared their personal journeys, challenges, and aspirations. These exchanges highlighted the role of livelihood initiatives in strengthening resilience and enabling communities to navigate socio-economic challenges.
Participants spoke about their experiences with Mukti’s interventions and how local leadership and collective efforts have contributed to improved livelihood opportunities in the region. The discussions underscored the importance of continued collaboration and community ownership in sustaining long-term impact.
The observance served not only as a moment to reflect on Mukti’s journey over the past 21 years but also as an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to promoting sustainable livelihoods through inclusive and community-driven approaches.
The programme concluded with a shared sense of purpose, reinforcing the importance of collective action in building resilient and self-reliant communities.
