Mukti’s Rights and Special Needs team, comprising Sahoshini and Mukti Community Development Fund (MCDF), established a prominent presence at the “Sundarban Agriculture, Education, Livelihood, and Environment Fair 2024.” Operating an informative stall, the team launched an impactful awareness campaign on women and child rights, distributing educational materials on the Prevention of Child Marriage Act. The stall featured community case workers addressing queries and providing insights into Mukti’s rights-focused initiatives. A focal point of the campaign was the exhibition of reusable sanitary napkins, promoting awareness about menstrual health and hygiene for women. Live demonstrations of the samples allowed visitors to gain practical knowledge, and the availability of these eco-friendly products for purchase empowered interested individuals to support the cause. The initiative not only raised awareness but also facilitated engagement and empowerment within the community.
