For a Greener Sunderban Mukti has Launched Tree Plantation Program 2020

Thousands of trees have been either uprooted or severely damaged by Amphan which had ravaged through Sunderban on 20^th May, 20. Mukti in restoring the environment has started afforestation activity with the involvement of the society and the people.

Mukti has created 2 lack saplings of Akashmoni, Mahogini, Sishu, Gamaru, Gayanim, Segun, and Bokul in 97 nurseries spread in 10 blocks.

The saplings were distributed to 18,000 SHG members and 2,000 Mukti Support School students. They are planting these saplings at their own residential area.

At present the sapling plantation program is going on at 5 branches of Mukti.
