Mukti celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm across all MKSS (Mukti Kishalaya Support School) centres on 14th November, honouring the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru. The celebrations spanned four districts, bringing together more than 1,850 participants who showcased their talents through an array of cultural and skill-based performances.
From recitation and drama to songs and dance, the stages across centres were alive with colour, confidence, and creativity. Children embraced the opportunity to perform, transforming each MKSS hub into a vibrant space filled with laughter, excitement, and community spirit.
A standout moment came from the students of Santoshnagar MKSS, who staged a compelling drama on the theme of child marriage. Their performance carried a strong social message, prompting the audience to reflect deeply on the issue and reinforcing the role of education in raising awareness.
Alongside cultural presentations, several students impressed the gathering with demonstrations of yoga and gymnastics, showcasing their strength, balance, and discipline.
The day concluded with the distribution of refreshments, adding warmth and festivity to the celebration.
This year’s Children’s Day reaffirmed MKSS’s commitment to nurturing the holistic development of children—encouraging learning, creativity, and confidence-building in every centre.
