Career Counselling at Raidighi College

On 3rd November 2025 a “Career Counselling Session” was organized at Raidighi College in collaboration with Mukti SURYA Skills Development Centre with the aim of guiding students towards skill enhancement and career development. The session began with a warm welcome note from the Principal of Raidighi College, Mr. Sasabindu Jana and focused on helping students recognize the importance of gaining practical skills along with academic knowledge to meet the demands of today’s job market.

As part of this initiative, the college, in partnership with Mukti SURYA Skills Development Centre, has introduced several vocational courses such as Tally with GST, Electrical, and Plumbing. These courses will be conducted alongside the students’ regular studies, providing them with valuable hands-on training and exposure to real-world applications.

The counselling session included interactive discussions, motivational talks, and expert guidance on how students can align their skills with future career opportunities. The event received an enthusiastic response from both students and faculty members, who appreciated the effort to bridge the gap between education and employability.
Through this collaborative effort, Raidighi College and Mukti SURYA Skills Development Centre aim to empower students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to build successful and self-reliant careers.
