On 7th July 2026, Mukti’s Talented Students Sponsorship (TSS) programme organised a virtual interaction between long-time sponsor Mr. Gora Sengupta, Mrs. Anjali Sengupta, and the students they support. The meeting served as a meaningful platform for open conversation, allowing the sponsor and students to connect beyond the scholarship programme by sharing experiences, aspirations, and words of encouragement.
Associated with Mukti since 2015, Mr. Gora Sengupta has been a steadfast supporter of deserving and meritorious students through the Talented Students Sponsorship (TSS) programme. Over the years, his continued support has enabled many students to overcome financial barriers, pursue higher education, and work towards fulfilling their academic and professional ambitions. His commitment reflects Mukti’s belief that education, combined with mentorship and encouragement, has the power to transform lives.
The interaction began with a warm welcome from the Mukti TSS team, followed by an introduction session where the students shared their educational journeys and future goals.
Mr. Aminur Mollick, currently pursuing B.A. English Honours (2nd Year, 2nd Semester) at Bhangar Mahavidyalaya, spoke about his academic journey, his passion for higher education, and his aspirations for the future. He also shared the challenges he has faced while continuing his studies and expressed his determination to build a successful career through education.
Mr. Avradeep Saha, a 2nd Year B.A. Political Science student at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, affiliated with the University of Calcutta, also shared his academic experiences, career aspirations, and the importance of receiving timely support in pursuing his educational goals.
During the interaction, Ms. Pampa Karmakar from the Mukti TSS team spoke about Mukti’s philosophy of holistic development. She emphasised that education should go hand in hand with social responsibility and encouraged the students to actively participate in community service and volunteer activities. Such experiences, she noted, help young people develop leadership, empathy, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the communities they serve.
Listening attentively to the students’ stories, Mr. Gora Sengupta and Mrs. Anjali Sengupta appreciated their perseverance, dedication, and commitment to their studies. They encouraged both students to remain focused on their goals, continue learning with sincerity, and face life’s challenges with confidence and determination. They also assured the students of their continued guidance and support whenever needed.
The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the scholarship, sharing how the financial assistance has eased the burden on their families by helping meet tuition fees, educational expenses, and the cost of books and study materials. They acknowledged that the support has given them the confidence to pursue higher education without compromising their dreams.
The interaction concluded on an inspiring note, reinforcing the strong bond between the sponsor and the students. More than a scholarship, the meeting highlighted the importance of mentorship, encouragement, and meaningful relationships in shaping young lives. The students also shared their aspiration to one day support deserving learners, just as they have been supported through Mukti’s Talented Students Sponsorship (TSS) programme.
Through such interactions, Mukti continues to strengthen the human connection at the heart of the TSS programme, bringing together compassionate sponsors and determined students to create opportunities, nurture aspirations, and build a brighter future through education.
