On 26th September 2025, a certification program was held at MUKTI SURYA Centre, Raidighi, organized by Saday Agronomy Digi Foundation, an emerging Agri-Tech company. The event marked the successful completion of a two-month-long field-based project jointly undertaken by the foundation and MUKTI’s SURYA Centre students.
Earlier this year, Saday Agronomy Digi Foundation conducted a primary survey-based field investigation in the Raidighi region to understand the tech perception and adoption levels among local farming households. The survey, titled “Situation Assessment Survey of Agricultural Households,” aimed to identify gaps in technology usage in agriculture and explore opportunities for integrating innovative, data-driven solutions to improve productivity.
For the purpose of this research, selected students from the DTP batch (2024–25) at MUKTI SURYA Centre were trained as Field Investigators. They received orientation and hands-on training before conducting field visits across assigned areas. Through their dedicated efforts, valuable primary data was collected to support the Agri-Tech company’s pilot research on tech-based agricultural development.
During the certification ceremony, Dr. Sahana Roy Chowdhury extended heartfelt gratitude to Mukti Foundation, particularly to Mr. Sankar Halder, President of Mukti, for his constant encouragement and institutional support. She also expressed appreciation for Ms. Saswati Mukherjee, whose coordination ensured the smooth execution of the survey project. Dr. Roy Chowdhury praised the students for demonstrating sincerity, perseverance, and professionalism throughout the fieldwork and research process.
