A Heartwarming Meetup with Bob Doshi and Rita Doshi

On 8th January 2026, Mukti was delighted to participate in a memorable meet and greet organised by SAHAY at the Kolkata Centre for Creativity. The event marked a special opportunity to meet Bob Doshi Sir and his wife, Rita Ma’am, esteemed donors of Children International, in person. Earlier, Bob Sir had announced this visit during a virtual interaction, and this January, he graciously fulfilled that promise.

The session brought together youth and scholars from Mukti’s Book Club, along with participants who had previously connected with Bob Sir virtually. The programme began with a warm welcome from Bob Sir, whose genuine joy and gratitude instantly filled the room with positivity.

Participants introduced themselves, sharing their journeys, ongoing work or businesses, and the challenges they had faced. Bob Sir ensured that everyone had a chance to speak, making the session inclusive, engaging, and deeply inspiring.

The meetup also featured a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the collective journey of the participants, followed by a delicious lunch. Bob Sir and Rita Ma’am joined the attendees at the lunch table, engaging in heartfelt conversations and creating an atmosphere of encouragement and warmth.

The session concluded on a joyful note as we bid farewell to our esteemed guests. The meetup was a truly unique experience and a cherished moment for the Mukti community, leaving behind memories that will be treasured for years to come.
