Sustainable Growth: ACV’s Mangrove Nursery
As a pivotal component of the Amplifying Community Voices (ACV) project’s climate adaptation drive, the women members of the team initiated the establishment of a mangrove nursery at Dakshin Kashinagar Mouja in Herembogopalpur GP. Commencing on November 3, 2023, this visionary endeavor encompasses a 10-katha expanse, where approximately 2,000 saplings are being meticulously nurtured. On November 4, 2023, Mr. Sanyasi Halder, a dedicated Panchayat member of Herembogopalpur GP, visited the site, extending both encouragement and practical assistance to the dedicated workers. These saplings, cultivated with care, are destined to grace the river boundaries across diverse locations in Dakshin Kashinagar in the future.
