TSS Interview for the New Applicants of 2022

Like previous years, Mukti TSS (Talented Student Sponsorship) team conducted online credibility interview sessions for new applications from vulnerable yet meritorious students. A total of 483 applications were received from various districts (South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Medinipur, Bardhaman, Hooghly, Purulia, Nadia, Bankura, South Dinajpur, North Dinajpur, Coochbihar, Malda etc) of West Bengal and Bihar. Among the 483 candidates, 168 candidates were shortlisted for interviews. The candidates were called serially for attending the online interview between 20^th September to 31^st September 2022.

The purpose of a credibility interview is to ascertain whether a student’s intentions to study hard are genuine. During the interview, a student is asked to confirm the reasons for seeking sponsorship. They are assessed on their level of interest in academics. They are also asked to introduce themselves and their families and to talk about their aspirations.

The TSS Interview panel consists of sponsors (Mr.Niladri Nath Bagchi, Mr. Sauvik Chakraborty, Ms. Shiboli Mukhopadhyaya, Ms. Poly Das & Mr. Avirup Banerjee), Mukti Board members (Mr. Soumitra Bose – Operations Director and Mr. Timir Baran Bhattachraya – Treasurer), alumni sponsors (Mr. Supriya Mondal, Mr. Amir Hamza & Ms. Mallika Biswas), alumni students (Shakuntala Halder, Anup Mridha, Supriya Niogi & Rajib Halder) and the TSS team.
