With the objective of serving the flood affected women and children, Mukti has collaborated with “Kolkata Gives” to distribute cake and biscuit packets to the Yaas affected needy.
Mukti has already contributed 5462 packets of powdered milk and 4848 packets of biscuits to 2534 Yaas affected children as of now.
To provide relief to this flood affected families and to provide healthy food, Mukti through the flood-relief campaign distributed cake and biscuit packets to children in various blocks of Sundarban.
Basanti –
The distribution campaign was held on 25th and 26th June, 2021 by the MCDF members of Basanti at Sonakhali and 4 No Sonakhali Village. 220 children received 440 packets of cake and biscuit.
Canning I –
On 28th June, 2021 80 children of Canning Block received cake, biscuit, powdered milk and ORS packets. To keep protected the children from Covid-19, Mukti also distributed masks for those children.
Mathurapur II –
To 1030 students of Mukti Support Schools of Damkal, Baradanagar, Purbasridharpur, Jogendtapur, Purbajata, and Uttar Kankandighi, Mukti distributed cakes.
Yaas has practically affected many families including children and the only minute contribution that Mukti could do is to extend a helping hand by offering them basic necessities such as food.
Mukti has planned to continue the distribution program with a motive to help the affected families in the time of crisis.
