Date of Session: 30 August 2026
The MUKTI Talented Students Scholarship (TSS) Programme has taken another step towards strengthening its student support network by initiating a free WBJEE guidance and mentorship programme for Class 12 TSS scholarship recipients preparing for the entrance examination.
Designed as a peer-to-peer learning initiative, the programme connects aspiring engineering students with senior TSS scholars who are currently pursuing engineering and technical education. Through their own experiences, the mentors provide practical guidance on preparation strategies, academics, motivation, time management, and navigating the challenges of competitive entrance examinations.
The first mentorship session was held on 30 August 2026, bringing together senior TSS scholars and WBJEE aspirants for an interactive exchange of experiences, questions, and preparation tips.
This is not intended to be a one-time session. The mentorship programme will continue through regular interactions and guidance sessions, supporting students throughout their WBJEE preparation journey.
Through these sessions, aspirants will have opportunities to clarify doubts, strengthen their preparation techniques, build confidence, stay motivated, and learn directly from seniors who have already experienced a similar academic journey.
More importantly, the initiative reflects the spirit of the TSS community – students supporting students. Scholars who once received support through the TSS Programme are now stepping forward to guide younger students, sharing their knowledge and experiences and creating a meaningful cycle of learning and giving back.
Beyond examination preparation, the initiative encourages peer learning, leadership, knowledge sharing, mentorship, and social responsibility among TSS scholars.
Through initiatives like this, MUKTI continues to strengthen the educational support system around talented students, ensuring that mentorship extends beyond financial assistance and helps young aspirants move towards their academic and career goals with greater confidence.
