As part of its continued efforts to build meaningful relationships between sponsors and students, Mukti’s Talented Students Scholarship (TSS) Programme organised a virtual Sponsor–Student Meeting on 3 August 2026. The meeting brought together Mr. Rabindranath Ganguly and his sponsored students with the objective of strengthening their relationship, facilitating direct interaction, providing guidance and mentorship, and encouraging the students in their academic and professional journeys.

Mr. Ganguly has been associated with Mukti’s Talented Students Scholarship (TSS) Programme since 2020. A resident of Kolkata, he has consistently supported meritorious students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to pursue higher education, fulfil their career aspirations, and contribute meaningfully to their families and society.

In the current academic year, Mr. Ganguly is sponsoring two students from the Medical and General streams.

One of his sponsored students, Rupa Khatun, has recently completed her MBBS and has begun her internship at Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital. Since childhood, Rupa has aspired to become a doctor and serve society through the medical profession. She comes from a middle-class family and lives with her mother and elder brother, who is the family’s sole earning member. Working as a private tutor, her brother has supported both the household expenses and Rupa’s education. Despite financial and personal challenges, Rupa successfully completed her medical degree and shared her aspiration to specialise in Gynaecology in the future.

The second sponsored student, Sanjay Rabidas, is currently pursuing B.Ed., Second Semester, at Kalyani University. A resident of Chanchal in Malda district, Sanjay belongs to a family of five, where his elder brother, a farmer, is the primary earning member. A sincere and dedicated student with a keen interest in academics and research, Sanjay aspires to become a researcher. He has already appeared for the NET/JRF examination and is simultaneously preparing for various competitive examinations while continuing his studies in Kalyani.

During the interaction, Mr. Ganguly appreciated the students’ determination, perseverance, and commitment to their goals. He encouraged them to remain focused on their studies, work hard with sincerity, and, above all, become compassionate and responsible human beings who contribute positively to society. He also assured both students that they could contact him whenever they needed guidance or support in their academic or professional journeys.

The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ganguly for his unwavering encouragement and generous support, sharing how his continued faith in their abilities has motivated them to pursue higher education with confidence and determination.

The meeting concluded on a warm and inspiring note, reflecting the true spirit of Mukti’s Talented Students Scholarship (TSS) Programme. Beyond financial assistance, the programme nurtures lasting relationships between sponsors and students, creating a strong support system built on trust, mentorship, encouragement, and shared aspirations.
