Against All Odds: Sangita Halder’s Journey to Empowerment and Independence
Sangita Halder grew up in an economically disadvantaged family, with her father engaged in farming and her mother a homemaker. Aspiring to become financially independent, she joined the EMT course at SURYA MUKTI Centre. The training equipped her with practical healthcare knowledge, helping her secure a position as a Nursing Assistant at Maa Tripura Nursing Home. Sangita is thankful to Mukti for the opportunity, guidance, and support that enabled her to transform her aspirations into reality.
