Against All Odds: Piu Halder’s Journey to Empowerment and Independence
Piu Halder comes from a financially struggling family where early marriage is common. Her father earns a livelihood as a roadside fish seller, while her mother is a homemaker. Despite dreaming of a career in nursing, financial constraints prevented her from pursuing her goal.
Mukti Surya Centre’s EMT (Emergency Medical Technology) course provided her with an opportunity to move closer to her dream. She successfully completed her EMT training and is now working as a Trainee Nurse at Raidighi Nursing Home.
Today, she has achieved financial independence and brought pride to her family. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude to MUKTI for transforming her life.
