On 16th September 2025, a general medical camp was successfully organized at Kamarpota village under the Swastha Shongini program, supported by Kolkata Foundation and implemented by Mukti. The initiative provided much-needed healthcare services to underserved communities, with a total of 102 patients attending and receiving free medical consultation.
The camp was sponsored by Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital, which deputed two experienced doctors for the program. They extended free consultation, treatment, and medicines to all beneficiaries. During the camp, three patients were identified with critical health conditions and were referred to the hospital for further detailed treatment, also free of cost.
This collaborative effort between Kolkata Foundation and Mukti, with sponsorship from Bhagirathi Neotia Group, exemplifies the power of collective action in addressing rural healthcare gaps. Mukti expresses its sincere gratitude to the sponsors for their generous support.
The camp’s smooth execution was made possible by the tireless efforts of the Swastha Shonginis, who managed the program with dedication, care, and a strong sense of responsibility toward their community.
Mukti remains committed to creating access to essential health services for poor and underserved populations and looks forward to organizing more such camps in the future.
