Green Tomorrow Begins Today: Mukti Organizes Plantation Drive across Four Schools

In a heartfelt effort to foster environmental awareness and promote sustainable living, Mukti, in collaboration with Praise Foundation and with generous support from Lightstorm, successfully conducted a Plantation Drive on 11th April 2025 across four schools in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

The schools that actively participated in this green initiative were:

• Kamrabad Girls’ High School
• Jote Shibrampur Girls’ High School
• Rajpur Harakali Vidyapith
• Mallikpur GSFP School

This drive aimed not just to beautify school premises but also to instill a sense of environmental responsibility among students. A rich variety of fruit-bearing and shade-giving saplings were planted, including dragon fruit, coconut, sapodilla, mango, papaya, krishnachura, lemon, guava, and water apple.

The initiative was warmly received by students, teachers, and local community members. As young hands carefully placed saplings into the soil, the message was clear — protecting nature begins with small, meaningful steps.
