Mukti recently conducted a 5-day skill development training program in handicrafts at Mukti Gram Purba Sridharpur, focusing on the utilization of locally produced organic flowers and leaves. The initiative aimed to empower women associated with MCDF, nurturing self-reliance through the creation of captivating and eco-friendly products at a minimal cost.
Raj Narayan Mondal, a facilitator of the training program, guided 20 trainees through an informative learning experience from January 25th to 29th. The comprehensive training covered a spectrum of skills, including crafting bouquets, badges, leaf crowns, flower jewelry, and intricate hand embroidery designs.
The uniqueness of this program lies in its emphasis on utilizing locally sourced materials, aligning with sustainable practices and promoting the rich resources of the community. The success of this endeavor not only equips the trainees with valuable skills but also contributes to the growth of a vibrant, self-sustaining ecosystem within the community.
