1523 Cattle Owners Received Animal Fodder from Mukti

The drive of animal fodder distribution by Mukti, which was started from 4^th June, 2021is running this week also. 419 cattle owners of Basanti, Canning and Mathurapur Block II were received animal fodder as per their requirement.

 

Mukti is thankful to “Kolkata Gives” whose diligent efforts are helping hundred of helpless cattle owners to keep their livestock alive.

Yaas has caused scarcity of feeds, fodders and scenario became worse due to inaccessibility and transportation difficulties of feeds and fodders. Livestock feeds were destroyed by the saline water which infused into the houses by breaching the river embankments. The existence of those animals was endangered due to lack of food.

In this time of emergency Mukti and “Kolkata Gives” thought about those dependable lives and arranged free food for them.

Through this initiative Mukti is not only arranged food for the animals but on the other side also supporting hundred of villagers to continue their livelihood as livestock farming is the second occupational option for them after agriculture.

3 kg animal fodder and 7 bunches hay were assigned for one cow. One cow equivalent food was planned for five goats. Food had been given according to the number of animals of the owner.
