A 2 day workshop was organized with Rupantaran Foundation on the above topic.
The first session was organized on 18th December 2020. The sessions were participated by 25 staffs including project team of OAK and team from the other projects of Mukti.
The sessions were based on participatory approach including role play, group discussions, and activities and brainstorming sessions.
On the first day, participants were helped with identifying stakeholders, mapping nature of the stakeholders, scope of engaging stakeholders, communication techniques.
Based on the discussions, each participant was allotted the task of organizing stakeholder meetings in the respective communities and target groups. It was decided to share the feedback of the sessions during the 2nd day of the workshop on 28th December 2020.
While sharing the feedback, the trainers also discussed on effective techniques of communicating with the stakeholders and providing hints on improved communication.
Participants also discussed on the nature of questions they face from the community people and possible ways to address them. Alongside this, there were sessions on engaging community people in the various meetings, how to organize meetings and facilitating sessions. The sessions were organized in the role-play method.
The workshop was highly appreciated by the participants. The trainers were also very happy with the participation and appreciated the dedication of the team in having an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the community.
