The Mukti office in Garia, Kolkata, was abuzz with enthusiasm on Thursday, April 25th, 2024. Representatives from YCPL/VIVO, the sponsoring organization, and the sponsored students were gathered there for a meeting.

YCPL/VIVO’s partnership with the TSS program at Mukti commenced in the academic year 2023-24, with a sponsorship commitment to students across four academic categories, with ten students in each category. Despite semester examinations, twelve students attended the meeting, expressing their gratitude for the steadfast support extended to them by VIVO.
The attending students represented a diverse range of aspirations and backgrounds:
Riya Mondal, hailing from a middle-class family in Maipith Coastal, is a BA History Hons student from Raidighi College, and dreams of pursuing a Ph.D. and becoming a professor.
Moumita Halder, from a family of six in Raidighi, South 24 Parganas, aspires to be a doctor. She is currently pursuing a BSc in Zoology Hons.
Sudrishna Bera from Raidighi is a fourth-year B.Sc. Nursing student, and dreams of becoming a professor.
Hiranmoy Mondal, a student of class XI in the science stream. aiming for a career in medicine hails from Maipith, West Bengal. He is grateful for the unwavering support from his farmer family.
Subhadip Ghosh is an MBBS 2nd year student from Katgara village, Hooghly. He aspires to become a cardiologist.
Anshuman Maitra from Belgharia, Kolkata, is studying for B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering. He wants to pursue an M.Tech. and Ph.D.
Sourabh Bhakat hails from a farming family in Canning Town. He is pursuing B.Tech. in Pharmaceutical Technology at Jadavpur University. He dreams of becoming an Engineer.
Soumyadip Das, an MBBS 2nd year student, aims to serve society despite coming from a humble background in Uttar Kalinagar.
Somdatta Paria, a B.Sc. Chemistry Hons student aspires to a teaching profession. She resides in Dakshin Kashinagar.
Rahul Manna, studying BE, Civil Engineering from Paschim Midnapore, dreams of working as a Construction Site Engineer.
Sampad Nag, from a family of five in Purba Medinipur, is pursuing a B.Sc. Statistics in Presidency University, and aspires to become a Data Scientist.
Soumyadip Pramanik from Purba Medinipur is a BE Computer Science student. He aims to excel as a software engineer.
