Arindam Sarkar Providing Free Tuition and Books

Arindam Sarkar is pursuing MBBS 3rd professional part 1 from Nilratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital. He lives with his parents at Falakata of Alipurduar, district. His father is a farmer. He would go with his father to the farms and see him toil for a living.  From time to time his mother also tries to support her husband. Apart from his education, the income of his father is not sufficient even to meet the household requirements of the family. His parents always support him to continue his studies and teach him to dream big. He wants to be a renowned doctor one day and serve the poor for free. At the suggestion of his parents, he applied to Mukti TSS for sponsorship.

At present, he is a proud sponsored student of GSCA (Garden state cultural Association).

He himself is preparing for the annual examination which will be held on April 2022. Despite the pressure of the exam, he is helping poor students near his house. In December, he provides tuition to the local class X student. He shares his study materials with a student who is currently preparing for NEET-UG Entrance Examination.

SK MD Iasin Aware People about Covid-19 by Participating in the Mask Distribution Program and Performing Mime

At present Iasin is pursuing UG-4; Chemical engineering, from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He lives with his parents and elder sister at Raina village of Purba Bardhaman district. His father works as a daily laborer in other people’s farming land. Due to the family’s low income, the expenses for his medical education have become a hurdle for his parents to bear. In order to become self-dependent and sustain his family, he wants to do a job after his final examination. Along with this, he wishes to pursue higher studies.

In December 2021 NSS (National Service Scheme) organized a mask and leaflet distribution program to make people aware of the effects of Corona Virus disease. They also conduct a mime. Iasin participates in the distribution program along with the mime. They have been able to make about 30 people aware for 4-5 hours.

Kuntal Mukhopadhay Distributed Blanket and Sweater

Kuntal Mukhopadhyay lives with his parents and younger sister at Kalagachia village, P.O:- Balidewanganj, P.S:-Goghat, of Hooghly district. He is currently pursuing B.Sc (H) 3rd year from Jadavpur University. His father works as a local priest and does seasonal farming. Financial instability becomes a major hindrance in continuing his studies. At a point in time, he doesn’t feel like the goals and dreams he has will ever be within his reach. But his parents remind him that the more education he will have the higher pay he will receive and the better quality of life he will live. His parents believe that he can achieve anything, no matter what anyone said. He wants to do PhD and build a career in academics.

To make his life a success Mr. Debkumar Bandyopadhyay supports him and with his support, Kuntal is now chasing his dream.

He himself belongs to a very poor family and for that can understand the suffering of other miserable people. So in December 2021 while the blankets and sweaters have been distributed among the distressed people in their village, he participated and helped 14 people to feel the warmth in the shivering winter nights.

Krisanu Mondal Helping in Plantation Work

Krisanu Mondal another bright student of TSS is now pursuing B.Sc (2nd year) in Agriculture from Centurion University of Technology & Management. He resides at Chandanpiri village, PS- Namkhana of south 24 Parganas district. His family members consist of his parents and his 2 siblings. His father is a farmer. His elder brother helps his father in farming.  The cost of his education is more than his father’s annual income. It is not possible for his father to spend this huge amount of money. His parents do every possible means to continue his studies. His parents motivate him to stay in the course and advice him to go for a sponsorship.

Following their advice, he applies to Mukti TSS and kind-hearted Ms. Anuradha Basu Ray selects him as her sponsored student.

In January 2022 he helped local people in their plantation work by spraying fungicide. Apart from this, he has also provided free tuition to the kids of his locality.
