Mukti Distribute Sanitary Products for Women Hygiene at Raidighi Block

In Amphan-affected areas, clean water, sanitation and hygiene are some of the major issues of concern. Special awareness drives on hygiene and sanitation, especially with children, adolescent girls and women are required. From the health and hygiene perspective of women, immediate needs like sanitary napkins are there all over Sunderban.

Menstrual hygiene is vital to the health, well-being, dignity and productivity of women and girls. At this hard time of Sunderban, women neither can afford to buy sanitary napkins nor can access it as the availability has disrupted by Amphan. Respecting the necessity Mukti has organized a sanitary napkin distribution program in various places of Raidighi Block.

Mukti in association with” Rangeen Khidki” distributed 200 napkins at Sankar Gheri, 120 napkins at Kachari More, 150 napkins at Paschim Para, 100 napkins at Halder Para, 150 napkins at Srifaltala Daspara and 130 napkins at Moyarar Mahal.
