On November 15, Mukti organized a blood screening camp in Krishnachandrapur, benefiting 60 community members. The camp was led by the dedicated Swasthya Shongini health team, which conducted essential screenings for blood glucose and blood pressure levels.
To support the initiative, Mukti distributed four vital blood glucose and blood pressure measuring devices to the camp’s four supervisors. This strategic move will enable continued health monitoring in the region. The Swasthya Shongini workers demonstrated exceptional commitment and precision in carrying out the tests, ensuring each participant received the necessary care.
A special session was also conducted to raise awareness about hypertension and diabetes. Mr. Somen Ghosh, a voluntary medical consultant, led the session, providing valuable information on managing these chronic conditions. Mr. Ghosh also demonstrated the proper techniques and attitude for conducting health tests, ensuring that the community’s health workers are well-equipped to carry out screenings in the future.
The initiative was met with overwhelming appreciation from the local residents, who expressed their gratitude for the support. Many community members requested that Mukti continue its outreach efforts in the same positive and proactive manner.
The camp is part of Mukti’s ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and improve the well-being of underprivileged communities. With its dedication to enhancing access to health resources, Mukti continues to make a meaningful impact in Krishnachandrapur and beyond.
