The inaugural value education session for teachers at the Mukti Support Schools (MSS) across Mava, Sagar, Patharpratima, Kakdwip, Namkhana, and Canning blocks took place from April 7th to April 28th, 2024. A total of 143 dedicated teachers participated in this enriching training program, facilitated by the esteemed trainer, Mr. Anup Pariya.
The focus of the training program centered on the critical theme of understanding and combating discrimination based on financial status, with the overarching goal of fostering equality in society.
The training commenced with warm introductions, as teachers eagerly engaged with a positive outlook, remaining actively involved throughout the sessions to grasp the essence of the content.
The training modules were thoughtfully structured to ensure comprehensive learning:
A primary objective of this module was to instill in teachers the understanding that while financial differences are inherent in society, discrimination based on financial status undermines fundamental human values. Teachers were encouraged to impart this crucial understanding to their students, prompting them to brainstorm potential solutions to address such discrimination in their localities. Through this initiative, leadership qualities were envisioned to emerge, empowering students to take collective action against discriminatory practices.
The training culminated on a poignant note, with participants joining together in a song of equality, underscoring the shared commitment to fostering a fair and just society.
