Mukti hosted two site visits in January by representatives from Asha for Education (AfE), long-time partners of Mukti.
Mr. Dilip Sen of AfE visited Joykrishnapur Mukti Support School on Republic Day, 26th January. Upon arrival, he was warmly introduced to the teachers and students of the school. Engaging in discussions with the MSS faculty, Mr. Sen delved into the school’s timing, procedures, and overall management. After the productive conversation, he hoisted the Republic Day flag, taking a moment to enlighten the students about the profound significance of this special day. Subsequently, Mr. Sen embarked on his journey to Purba Sridharpur MSS, where he continued his interactions, hoisted the national flag, and provided valuable insights to the school. Later in the day, his itinerary led him to the Mukti Institute of Technology (MIT) office at Raidighi, where he engaged with teachers and students, keenly exploring the realm of computer training and expressing particular interest in the curriculum. Concluding his visit, Mr. Sen conveyed his satisfaction with the initiatives and progress observed during his insightful tour.
Mr. Padmanava Sen, the second representative from AfE, arrived at Mukti Gram Purba Sridharpur on 27th January. The following day, he embarked on a comprehensive tour, visiting all the project sites of Mukti in Purba Sridharpur and actively engaging with the workers involved in various project activities. In the afternoon, he conducted two meetings at Purba Sridharpur FP School. The first meeting focused on interactions with MIT teachers and students, delving into discussions on MIT and Mukti Employment Exchange (MEE) activities. Mr. Sen participated in subject-specific conversations about computer teaching methodologies for students. In the subsequent meeting, he addressed teaching challenges and concerns with MSS teachers.
The subsequent day, January 29, saw Mr. Padmanava Sen visiting two schools, namely Purba Chintamonipur and Sontoshnagar. During the early morning, he met with the students of Purba Chintamonipur, immersing himself in classroom interactions to understand their preferences in subjects. Mr. Sen actively discussed strategies to make seemingly disliked topics more engaging, imparting valuable advice to the students. Following this insightful session, he proceeded to Sontoshnagar MSS, where he conducted a meeting with the teachers.
These interactions with experienced representatives of a valued partner provided directions and motivation to Mukti to further the collaborative efforts towards the shared mission of educational upliftment.
