Second Phase Chick Distribution Program Benefitted 210 SHG Women
Mukti conducted the second phase of the chick distribution program for the marginalized SHG women of the Egra and Datan blocks of the East Medinipur district. The program was organized on 2nd February 2023. 2100 chicks were distributed to 210 women.
The initiative, funded by Coal India,is named “मुर्गी पालन द्वारा आजीविका और आय सृजन सवार” (Generating livelihood by chick-rearing) is helping the women folks to earn a respectable status in their community along with providing them with an opportunity to earn an additional income for their families.
