A virtual meeting was successfully organized by Team MUKTI on 23 May 2026 with the esteemed sponsor Mr. Saikat Sarkar, along with the student supported under his sponsorship. The meeting was conducted in a warm, interactive, and encouraging environment, creating a meaningful platform for discussion, mentorship, and academic guidance between the sponsor and student.

Mr. Saikat Sarkar has been associated with MUKTI since the academic session 2025–26 as a sponsor. Born and brought up in Asansol, West Bengal, he completed his school-level education at Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission, followed by his higher education in Electronics Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Currently, he is settled in the United States of America (USA) and working at Apple, reflecting a remarkable academic and professional journey. His inspiring transition from a student in West Bengal to a successful global professional served as a strong source of motivation for the student during the interaction.

The sponsored student who participated in the meeting was Saikat Mondal, a resident of Bakhrabad, Usthi, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. He belongs to a family of four members. His father is a farmer, and his mother is a homemaker, reflecting a modest family background supported through determination and hard work.

Currently, Saikat Mondal is pursuing B.Tech under the University of Calcutta and is studying in the 3rd Year (6th Semester) of his course, which is expected to conclude in July 2027. During the meeting, he shared details about his academic progress, family background, and future aspirations. He expressed his goal of securing employment in a reputed company after completing his studies and continuously improving his technical skills. He also shared his ambition of becoming financially independent to support his family and contribute positively to society by helping others in need.

The meeting was facilitated by Team MUKTI, ensuring a smooth and comfortable flow of interaction throughout the session. Mr. Saikat Sarkar engaged the student in an encouraging and insightful discussion regarding academic growth, career planning, and professional development. He motivated the student to remain focused on his studies, strengthen his technical knowledge, and continuously improve his practical and communication skills to prepare for future career opportunities.

Mr. Saikat Sarkar also shared valuable insights from his own educational and professional journey, highlighting the importance of discipline, consistency, and determination in achieving long-term success. His experiences at IIT Kharagpur and in the corporate environment inspired the student to think ambitiously and work sincerely toward his goals.

The discussion also emphasized the importance of social responsibility and giving back to society. The sponsor encouraged the student to remember his roots and extend support to others once he becomes successful in his professional life. This message reinforced the values of gratitude, empathy, and community contribution.

The primary objective of the session was to strengthen the bond between the sponsor and student while reinforcing the values of the MUKTI Talent Support Scholarship (TSS) Program. The interaction helped the student feel encouraged, motivated, and more confident about his academic and professional journey.

The meeting concluded on a positive and inspiring note, reflecting MUKTI’s continued commitment to nurturing meaningful sponsor–student relationships and empowering talented students to achieve their educational and career aspirations while becoming responsible contributors to society.
