On 21st May 2025, MUKTI took another meaningful step toward women’s empowerment by distributing Support Kits to rural women engaged in the Food Processing trade under the SWAS 2.0 (Swavalamban Accelerator in Sundarbans 2.0) project supported by SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India). The distribution took place at Kankandighi, where the energy and eagerness of the participants showcased their readiness to step into self-reliant livelihoods.
The kits, tailored for food processing activities, are aimed at equipping the women with the essential tools and materials needed to initiate or enhance their small-scale businesses. This effort reflects MUKTI’s ongoing mission to support sustainable livelihood opportunities, especially for women in rural and underserved regions.
Through SWAS 2.0, MUKTI continues to foster skill development, economic empowerment, and community resilience by supporting women as they build their capacity and confidence.
This initiative not only strengthens individual enterprises but also nurtures a collective ecosystem where rural women can learn, collaborate, and grow together.
With every such initiative, MUKTI remains committed to promoting gender equity, rural prosperity, and the power of community-led transformation.
