760 “Mukti Saathi” and Partners Observes the 18th Foundation Day at Jaynagar

Mukti has celebrated 18^th Foundation Day on 20^th March 2021 at Jaynagar. It has been a spectacular event organized at Shibnath Sastri Sadan with the participation of 760 people including Mukti volunteers, staff, teachers of MSS (Mukti Support School), Kishalaya School, MIT (Mukti Information Technology), local authorities, political personalities, social workers, Mukti partners and hundreds of well-wishers of Mukti. The program started at 9 AM and continued till 6 PM. People from different parts of West Bengal have traveled a long distance to meet each other. The well-wishers of Mukti those who are residing abroad and could not attend in person attended the ceremony online. With the self-motivated cooperation of all has made it a successful event.

Mukti Executive Board Members, Mr. Biswa Nath Das – MLA of Jaynagar, Mr. Tuhin Biswas – TMC Jaynagar Youth president, Mr. Sukumar Halder  – Chairman Jaynagar Majilpur Municipality, Mr. Rathin Babu – Vice-Chairman Jaynagar Majilpur Municipality, Mr. Ganesh  Mandal – MLA Kultoli,  Mr. Prasanta Sarkhel – Ex-Chairman Jaynagar Majilpur Municipality, Mr. Atunu Santra – I.C. of Jaynagar P.S., Mr. Aloke Joldata – MLA Mathurapur Block, Mr.Chandan Maity  – General Secretary of ASFHM State committee, Mr. Shyamal Halder – an eminent social worker people from various organizations, other NGOs, local stakeholders, representatives from Banks, media reporters ornate the Foundation Day with their gorgeous presence.

242 MCDF members from 24 branches  (Krishnachandrapur, Raidighi -I, Kankandighi, Itkhola, Laxminarayanpur, Sonatikary, Purba Sridharpur, Koutala, Radhakantapur, Debipur, Jalaberiya, Kakdwip, Brajaballavpur, Namkahana, Manirtat, Purnachandrapur, Canning -I, Basanti, Baikunthapur, Bhubaneswari, Deulbari, Patharpratima, Jaynagar – I and Herambogopalpur)along with their Presidents attend the program.

146 teachers from 18 MSS centers (Damkal, Purba Sridharpur, Barada Nagar, Jogendrapur, Uttar Kankandighi, Purba Jata, Gilar Chat, Dumki, Canning, Delubari, Joy Krishnapur, Sonatikari, Dakshin kashinagar, Akshaynagar, Sonakhali, Purandarpur, Hingalganj and Moukhali) have participated in the program.

3 Kishalaya School teachers have been present.

14 organic farmers and 13 SAM (Sustainable Agricultural Movement) staff from 7 areas (Nagendrapur, Purba Sridharpur, Baradanagar, Damkal, Daktargheri, Paschim Jata, Purba Jata) have attended the program of Foundation Day.

The day has been observed not only for celebration but also has been a good opportunity to communicate with all the members of the Mukti family. This grand event has proven again that Mukti is growing immensely.
